Salmon is a good source of Omega – 3 fatty acids which are very important for the baby’s health. 1. Turmeric powder and Gram Flour paste:

Take a bowl and add turmeric powder and gram flour powder in equal quantities and mix it well by gradually adding milk and make a smooth paste consistency. Apply it all over the face and neck and massage it gently in circular motions and leave it for about 10 minutes and wash your face with warm water.

2. Coconut oil:

Warm up the oil lightly and add some sugar to it and apply all over the face and neck, massage it for 5 minutes and leave the oil on overnight. The process should be done once or twice a week. This remedy works for the dry and dull skin.

3. AloeVera Gel:

Add a tablespoon of Aloe Vera gel in a bowl and mix it with a pinch of Turmeric powder and a teaspoon of honey and milk. Mix it well and apply this paste on the face and neck and leave it for 20 minutes and rinse with warm water.

4. Papaya, Avacado Fruit Pack:

In a mixing bowl add a tablespoon of Papaya pulp, Avacado pulp along with grated Cucumber and mix it with fresh cream and form a paste like consistency. Later apply this fruit pack over the face and neck and leave it for 15 minutes and wash with warm water.

5. Baking Soda:

Mix a tablespoon of baking soda along with a teaspoon of honey and Olive Oil. Mix all the ingredients and apply the mixture over the face and neck. Massage it gently in circular motions and leave it for 10- 15 minutes. Later wash with cool water. Apply this pack once in a week.

6. Walnut pack:

Soak walnuts in water overnight and next day grinds this walnut along with a tablespoon of rose water. Grind it to a smooth paste and later apply this paste all over the face and neck. Leave it for about an hour and wash with warm water. The Process must be done once a week.

7. Lemon:

In a bowl add 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and sugar. Mix it well and apply the mixture on your face. Massage it gently in circular motion and leave it for 10 – 15 minutes. Later wash with warm water. Repeat the process twice a week.

8. Cinnamon Pack:

Mix a tablespoon of cinnamon powder with a tablespoon of oatmeal. Mix the ingredients with milk and apply the paste over the face and neck and leave for 15 minutes. Later wash it cold water. Repeat the process 2 times a week.

9. Tomatoes:

In a blender add 2-3 tomatoes and grind it. Apply the tomato paste all over the face and leave it for 15 minutes. Wash with cool water. To heal the pimples you can use tomato paste.

10. Tea leaves pack:

Boil green tea leaves in water and cool it. Now in a mixing add 2 tablespoons of green tea water. Then add 2 teaspoons of brown sugar and a teaspoon of cream. Mix all the ingredients well and apply the mixture all over the face and leave it for 10 minutes. Later wash with cool water.

Home remedies for headache:

  1. Take hand full of coriander leaves and mint leaves. Squeeze juice of both the leaves separately and apply it to your forehead and temples.
  2. Take equal parts of ginger juice and lemon juice in a cup and mix them together, drink this once or twice.
  3. Take 1 tea spoon of dry ginger (sonth) and 1 table spoon water, mix the ingredients and apply paste on your forehead. If you don’t have dry ginger simply head ginger paste and then apply. Initially you might feel irritation.
  4. If you prone to headaches add bananas into your diet or take apply with a sprinkle of salt.
  5. Pomegranate juice also help to get over headaches. Apply an ice pack on your forehead and back of neck.
  6. With firm circular moves massage the skin between thumb and forefinger.
  7. Soaking your feet in hot water helps you get rid of head ache. For a severe headache add a bit hot mustard powder to water. You can also place a washcloth dipped in cold or hot water over your head for 5 minutes and repeat this several times.
  8. Cloves can be use to ease headache due to its cooling properties. Crush few cloves gently and put them in a handkerchief, inhale the smell to get relief from headache. You can put 2 drops of clove oil in 1 spoon of coconut oil with sea salt, massage this on your forehead and temples.
  9. Mix half cup of apple cider vinegar with half cup of water and boil this mixture in a covered saucepan. Take off from heat, hold a towel your head and slowly inhale the steam. This will provide instant relief from sinus headache.
  10. Dab a drop or two of thyme or rosemary essential oil on each temple on your forehead and rub it gently into skin then sit quietly for several minutes.
  11. Add 2 tea spoons of powdered cinnamon to 1 ½ cup of milk and boil it for 1- 2 minutes. Add a tea spoon of honey, mix and stir it thoroughly and drink it at least twice a day when suffering from headache.
  12. Lavender oil is a useful home remedy for headaches and migraines. The oil can be either inhaled or applied on your head. For inhaling, add 2-4 drops of lavender oil to 3 cups of boiling water and inhale the oil vapours.
  13. Make a warm soup and add some pepper in it. Warm soup will help you to get rid of nasal blockage and will cure headaches.
  14. Drink fresh juices and other beverages that don’t contain caffeine.
  15. A few simple exercises to stretch your head and neck can help reduce the intensity of the headache. Move your head upwards, downwards, left, right and bent your neck side wards towards shoulders . You can also try rotating your neck clock and anti clock wise direction.

Prevention :

Food to be avoided by diabetics :

Most dangerous factor is refined starch. Refined starch is found in any food  that is made by white flour like white bread, white flour pasta etc. They have high content of carbohydrates which causes rapid raise in sugar levels.
These carbohydrates take longer time to digest.
Whole milk :  Milk products also come under food that need to be avoided . Full fat dairy products increases Insulin and worsts the conditions for diabetic patients.
White Rice : White rice contain low quality carbohydrates and lack fibres. It is easily digested which in turn boosts the blood glucose level. If  you can’t stay away from rice then replace white rice with brown rice.
Potatoes :  Consuming potatoes on regular basis is extremely harmful who are suffering from diabetes.
Fruit juices :  Fruit juices are loaded with fruit sugar that causes the sharp raise in blood glucose level and daily intake of fruit juice shows the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 18%.
Raisins:  like kismis, cashew nuts etc need to be avoided, though they are rich in fibres they shoot up the blood sugar level. Dried fruits don’t have water in it which will have more carbohydrates and calories increases glucose level.

Diabetic Food need to be taken :

 People who have diabetes need to take food every regular intervals. You should not take full quantity at a time, split your complete meal and intake it so that you will not feel heavy and hungry after having your meal at once.
Opt for barley, oat meal, cereals, brown rice.
You can have white meat, chicken, turkey, lean cuts of beef, pork and fish to keep diabetes under control.

Morning at 6 or after you wake up  take ¼ tea spoon fenugreek powder with water.
At 7 Am 1 cup sugar free tea with 1-2 biscuits. You can take sugar free biscuits special made for diabetic patients.
8: 30 Am, 1 plate upma or oatmeal, half bowl sprouted grains and 100ml cream free milk without sugar( optional)
At 10: 30 Am 1 small fruit or 1 cup thin and sugar free buttermilk or lemon water.
For lunch, 2 roti of mixed flour, 1 bowl rice, 1 bowl pulse, 1 bowl curd, half cup soyabean or cheese vegetable, half bowl green vegetables, one plate salad.
At 4 Pm 1 cup tea without sugar and 1- 2 sugar less biscuits or toasts.
At 6Pm 1 cup soup
At 8 30 Pm 2 roti of mixed flour,1 bowl rice, 1 bowl pulse, half bowl green vegetables , one plate salad
